Item Description
A very nifty and aesthetic barite specimen from recent Chinese finds. Both sides of the sparkly, drusy quartz plate hold striking clusters of spearpoint barite blades. The highly lustrous crystals have cornflower-yellow bodies with gemmy, amber, edges and terminations. The striking, pristine, doubly terminated, splayed crystal on the edge is 3.0 cm and this primary crystal cluster is pristine, front and back. The broken crystals on the bottom of the plate are essentially out-of-sight in both of the preferred display views. An excellent and very pretty Chinese barite with much character.
