Item Description

This well-known mine is noted for fine calcite crystals on fluorite. However, this is an especially fine specimen of numerous rosettes of very glassy, lustrous, bladed barite perched on two sides of a large, stepped-growth, purple fluorite cube. The longest doubly terminated barite is 3 cm in length. The barites are in fabulous shape, for the density, with very few lightly bruised blades. Very choice material from the Larry Krause dealer stock. Valued at $600-800 and worth it. Denton Mine combination pieces of this quality are very seldom on the market and this is excellent for what it is
