Barite on Drusy Quartz

Item Description

Gem-like, tabular, golden-amber barite crystals to 8 mm on the diagonal are richly and attractively scattered on the very sculptural drusy quartz matrix from finds in China a few years ago. I like the placement of the crystals and the form of the quartz on the crest. Essentially pristine, with only periphery wear along one edge. This cutie has multiple display views. Sadly, very few of these pretty specimens have come out, and one wonders if any more will. Fine material with scintillating crystals.
