Item Description
An aesthetic tower of glassy, translucent, dark amber, bladed barite spearpoints is jauntily attached to matrix on this showy old-timer from Cumbria. The barites reach 2.8 cm. A broken crystal is noted at the base of the cluster, but is only a modest detraction. Classic material from the Howard Belsky Collection.
