Item Description
An unusual and showy barite cluster from the finds about 5 years ago in China. Most barites from this locality are water-clear and glassy, These sharp, fat tabular crystals have razor-like terminations. The glassy crystals have some water-clear faces, some faces included with hematite and some faces preferentially coated with hematite and/or drusy quartz. Weird chemistry here. A bit of edgewear and periphery wear is noted, but nothing to detraction. Excellent and uncommon material from this find (2007)
