Barite included w/ Cinnabar (old classic) ex Mullane Coll.

Item Description

A striking, large, floater barite crystal is tinted a pretty rose-pink by included cinnabar and also has included cinnabar on this classic specimen from a famed German locale - the Clarashall Mine. The super-glassy, parallel-growth, tapered crystal has a transparent, gemmy section and textbook beveled edges. A complete all-around and nearly pristine floater, with only one small spot of periphery wear. One edge is contacted, but has no damage, per se. This barite mine closed in the early 1970s.
