Item Description

Very glassy, parallel-growth, transparent barite crystals are tinted a pretty rose-pink by included cinnabar on this classic specimen from a famed German locale - the Clarashall Mine. The tinted crystals have beveled edges and the trivial edgewear is a very modest detraction on this fine piece. This barite mine closed in the early 1970s. Excellent material from the Dennis Mullane Collection.
