Item Description

An attractive specimen of gemmy and lustrous, golden tabular Barite with Calcite on matrix from the famous Meikle Mine. The largest crystal measures 3.9 cm on edge. Great quality, classic material and hard to photograph, and I would say better in person. The piece comes from and old East Coast collection, with a label from noted and recently deceased mineral dealer, Larry Conklin. Valued at $1800.
