Item Description

Any Elmwood specimen that exhibits three of the major four species there is usually a keeper. So it is with this piece. Superbly crystallized, lustrous, black sphalerite crystals with red highlights, to 1.7 cm in length are the host for two discrete rosettes of light tan barite, to 3.25 cm across along with a single, glassy and gemmy, lavender colored fluorite crystal, to1.1 cm across. Superb luster and quality marks all species on the piece. Purchased in the 1980s from Ken and Betty Roberts, known for their superb taste
