Item Description

This showy and excellent mounded specimen features most of the species, that have made the Elmwood Mine a renowned locale. A 5.3 cm bladed barite ball is jauntily perched atop a field of lustrous, sharp, very dark purple fluorite cubes with translucent blue areas. Scattered about are classic, very nifty, gemmy, amber calcite scalenohedrons, to 1.8 cm and a rich sprinkling of lustrous dolomite rhombs. Periphery wear is noted, but this remains a highly representative combination example from this famous locale. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
