Item Description

A very attractive full-sized cabinet specimen of the famous Barites from the Meikle Mine in Nevada. Dozens of superb quality, razor sharp, highly lustrous, well-formed, tabular crystals with that classic golden color and excellent transparency measuring up to 3.4 cm can be seen on all sides of the specimen. In fact, upon close inspection I cannot find a single point of attachment or contact anywhere on the piece, so it's a complete "floater", which is quite rare in my with Meikle Barites. Hard to photograph and truly better in person, but please check out the video to get a better idea of the composition of the piece. The piece has such wonderful three-dimensional flair with superior crystal form. Valued in the inventory at $1,800.
