Item Description

Blocky, lustrous, translucent, honey-brown baryte crystals form an aesthetic baryte specimen from Montana. The striking, large, dominating crystal is 3.2 x 2.2 cm. Many of the crystals have a preferential secondary baryte overgrowth giving them a nice frosted look. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but certainly nothing detracting. A highly quality example of the species and the locale from the Ernie and Vera Schlichter Collection. Valued at $950.
