Item Description

Originally labeled from Noble County, Oklahoma, I believe this piece to be from the more well-known Slaughterville locale. This lovely display piece has very sharp, and fairly "thin" blades, unlike the more awkward and bulky blades often seen in this material. This floater cluster "rose" formed in the Permian-aged Garber Sandstone and the sand grains are included in the Barite crystal structure. Great quality, and less common on the market. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
