Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of very gemmy / glassy colorless somewhat blocky crystals of Barite intergrown to form a lovely thumbnail specimen. The largest crystal measures 9 mm. The piece comes from the collection of Allen Heyl, a deceased geologist from Colorado, and the namesake for the Turquoise group phosphate, Aheylite.
