Item Description
A classic golden Barite specimen from the famous Pöhla Mine. A 4.2 cm sharp, lustrous, rich golden color orthorhombic crystal is associated with a secondary accessory Barite sitting on Quartz and minor matrix. It's not pristine, as the termination has a small "rub" and the base of the crystal is contacted where it was removed from the pocket wall. It does have good luster and gemminess for the material, and crystals of this size are not terribly common on the market anymore.
