Item Description

Here we have a classic Frizington Barite specimen with sharp, lustrous, translucent, pale blue color (with a slight yellow hue) crystals on Dolomite matrix. The Barite crystals have some minor damage, but it is still a good representative Barite from this classic locality. Valued at $400, and almost certainly over 100 years old. These pieces are becoming more and more difficult to find on the market.
