Item Description

A rich, colorful and sculptural bladed barite specimen from the historic mines at Lavrion. The striking, highly lustrous, crystal fans on the front are included with brick-red, iron oxides and have lightly frosted edges. The matrix is solid bladed, snow-white barite with scattered iron oxide coatings. Excellent, uncommon and highly representative material.
