Item Description
A rich, sculptural and showy two-sided, bladed barite rib with two colors of crystals from the historic mines at Lavrion. The highly lustrous, translucent crystals on one side are reddish-brown, while the blades on the other side are coated with brick-red, iron oxides. The matrix is solid bladed, tan to colorless barite. Excellent and uncommon material.
