Item Description

A very fine specimen of a large, angled, tabular, golden baryte spear-point from Baia Sprie. The highly lustrous crystal is noteworthy for the beautiful gem termination. Very nearly pristine, with only slight rubbing to one termination edge. Baryte crystals with this rich amber color and quality are very uncommon from this famous locale. It resembles fine Meikle Mine baryte. Older material. Ex. Howard Belsky Collection.
