Item Description
A textbook bladed barite ball from Elmwood. The lustrous blades have classic form and the piece is nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising to one spot near the edge. There is a bit of sphalerite on the base. It is a fine display specimen that has long been in the mineral collection of John Culberson, one of our current Texas Congressmen in the US House of Representatives for the Houston area. He has specialized in Elmwood minerals for several decades.
