Barite and Orpiment

Item Description

Glassy, transparent to translucent, tabular, barite crystals are aesthetically scattered on sparkly, rich burnt-orange, nubby, orpiment botryoids on this showy and colorful mounded combination piece from a recent Peruvian find. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but this remains a highly representative example of the species and noted locale.
