Item Description
Here is a very attractive miniature display specimen from the famous find in 2005 in Peru. It features a semi-"rosette"-shaped group of superb quality, sharp, tabular, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, grey-blue color Barite crystals aesthetically sitting on matrix. These Barite crystals are known from this locality for their amazing form and color, and stand out on a worldwide scale for their superior form and quality. This is a great overall piece from this well known discovery, and now hard to find on the market. The largest individual Barite on the piece measures 3.2 cm. I can see one small imperfection on one of the lesser crystals, but overall the piece is in excellent condition. The piece comes with an old Ausrox label from 10+ years ago priced at $1,100, and certainly worth MORE today!
