A notably attractive and showy specimen of VERY gemmy and highly lustrous, thick, golden tabular Barite from the famous Meikle Mine. The largest crystal measures 3.2 cm on edge. Great quality, classic material and hard to photograph, and I would say better in person. Most of the crystals are undamaged, but a few are incomplete, including the larger crystal on the upper left which is contacted in the back. Valued at $2,000 for quality, color, gemminess and aesthetics. The piece comes with a FREE lucite display base.
