Barite

Item Description

Barite is reported from several localities in Niederschlag, but I've never seen one in person. This piece features sharp and lustrous, gemmy/translucent golden to silvery prismatic crystals with attractive chisel shaped terminations. Very minor edge wear but essentially undamaged. HARD to find from this locality! A great pickup for any collector of European localities or for somebody who collects German minerals.
