Item Description

From what I understand, the only species found at this locality is Barite. Apparently a large trench called "La route" was dug in the 1980s and produced some of the finest Barites from Les Bains. This single crystal is rather thick for the species and features notable "phantom" zoning with colors ranging from a bluish-grey to a silvery-white. A good representation of this hard to find classic material.
