Item Description
Barite is known from thousands of world localities, but good gem crystals are surprisingly scare. This is a seldom seen specimen from Brukkaros, Namibia. It is essentially a nearly 100% transparent, sharp, well-formed prismatic crystal with a distinctive golden amber hue. There are a few minor nicks that keep it from being completely damage free, but it is still a more than worthwhile specimen of a mineral that most people don't think of in terms of "gem crystal" quality.
