This locality has produced some of the most classic and easily recognizable Barite specimens from anywhere in the United States. The beautiful blue color combined with the excellent quality of the crystals makes them a Colorado classic. This piece features several prismatic crystals of gemmy, translucent blue Barite in parallel growth. The crystals are in good condition overall.
