It features pearlescent, white to pinkish-white Batatovite plates throughout, and these crystals have bright, blue-white fluorescence, which is classic for the species. Interestingly, one of the other major components of the matrix has a deep red fluroescence., possibly feldspar host rock with impurities This fine and rare specimen was previously in the collection of the Fersman Museum in Moscow. Rare material, seldom on the market, from the 1990s deaccessions by the Fersman Museum.
