Item Description

Baratovite is a very rare complex layered silicate, found at only three localities worldwide (per MINDAT). This rich thumbnail is from the Type Locality and features pearlescent white to pinkish-white plates on all four sides. Excellent and rare material from the Fersman Museum, in the 1990s.
