Banded / Striped Flint

A gorgeous polished slice of the classic banded / striped "picture" Flint from Srodborze. The piece is very picturesque and resembles waves of blowing desert sand, almost like a desert cyclone with alternating light and dark beige / brown "bands" enclosed in host rock matrix. The piece shows a wonderful yellowish fluorescence under UV light. This stuff is famous in Poland and the rest of Europe, but few people know about it in the United States. It's really gorgeous and worth picking up if you collect decorative minerals or rocks.
