Striking dense banding of pretty multi-hued pink manganoan calcite courses around all sides of this impressive and sculptural mounded specimen from the famous ZC Mine at Broken Hill. Banded manganoan calcite of this style is very uncommon from Broken Hill and is limited to a couple of mines here. Pink UV SW fluorescence. Ex Ted Bartels Collection.
