Item Description

Striking, colorful, gorgeous, sculptural, large polished, densely banded fluorite slab from recent finds in China. The entrancing, pristine, two-sided piece with rounded edges and a rind is transparent to translucent and has seductive variable hues of purple, green, blue and colorless bands. A beautiful and artistic example of densely banded fluorite from China. Mass is 533 grams or 1.2 pounds. This is from a recent find of the highest quality we have seen in decades and from a new province. The old 1990s material was from Hunan.
