Item Description
Baddeleyite is a rare Zr-oxide accessory mineral. This very sculptural, waxy luster, botryoidal mass looks distinctly like a trilobite with eyes! The broken surfaces reveal the radial fibrous structure of the botryoids. A nifty and showy old-time, two-sided specimen from the Howard Belsky Collection. The 1.7 cm label with 4 lines of superb printing is from a collection, that was auctioned in 1908! $4.00 was NOT cheap in 1908! Value???
