Item Description

A very good representative combo specimen from this well-known locality in Meigu County, Sichuan, China, which has produced some of the finest examples of Babingtonite in the world. This piece host several sharp, well-formed, black tabular blades measuring up to 1.1 cm long, sitting atop light green bubbly Prehnite on matrix. Very little damage, and displays nicely from a few angles. These pieces have all but disappeared from the market, nothing new has come out in many years, and if you missed out on these when they were first available, this is a good overall example of what is now fairly hard to find material.
