Babingtonite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

A very sharp, striated, tabular, doubly terminated babingtonite crystal with a nifty chisel edge is jauntily angled and nicely accented with a bit of green prehnite and small quartz points on this very fine and aesthetic miniature from recent Chinese finds. The crystal has moderate luster. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. The trivial bit of edge wear is out-of-sight on the back. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. These are the best of the species.
