Superior Babingtonite crystals from the classic locality of Lane Quarry, Massachusetts. It is very rare to find this quality Babingtonite from Lane Quarry - the crystals are razor-sharp, have superb striated luster, and they are numerous throughout the piece. The largest of the Babingtonites is 2.2 x 1.8 x .7 cm. Fabulous! The associated Prehnites are well-crystallized and a good mint green color. A KILLER combination piece, with just about the best Babingtonites that you will find from here. Even with recent finds in China, these still set a standard for a US locality, and this incredible miniature is valued at $1000-1500.
