Azurite with Malachite (Tarnowski Coll.)

Item Description

An aesthetic specimen from recent finds in China. The well-prepared piece features a large vug richly lined with sparkly, blocky, midnight-blue azurite crystals. Some of the crystals have fabulous "electric blue" highlights. The vug itself, is in good shape and the modest periphery wear is minor detraction. The quality of the azurite is outstanding.
