Azurite with Malachite (Tarnowski Coll.)

Item Description

Highly lustrous, royal-blue to midnight-blue, parallel-growth, azurite blades richly cover both sides of this showy and excellent specimen from recent finds in Mexico. The malachite matrix is a nice compliment to the richness of the piece. The contacts are noted, but are a modest detraction. Highly representative and rich for the species and locale.
