Item Description
A very hard to find specimen from the old Friedrich-Christian Mine in Black Forest featuring small drusy midnight blue spots of Azurite associated with velvety mint green Malachite on oxidized matrix. If you collect German minerals, or specifically minerals of the Black Forest, or worldwide secondary ore minerals / copper minerals, don't miss out on this one. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2356). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
