Item Description

A classic, sharply terminated, highly lustrous and striated, azurite crystal from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The azurite is nicely accented with malachite, olivinite and duftite. The contact on the left edge is noted, but is a very modest detraction. Excellent, highly representative material from this renowned locale. Ex Tarnowski Collection.
