Item Description

A beautiful and eye-catching display specimen of this most classic material featuring highly lustrous, royal-blue to navy-blue Azurite "blades" associated with mint green Malachite on of a piece of gossan matrix. Specimens from Bisbee are some of the most highly sought after Azurites in the world, and this classy, old-time specimen from this famous mining district is a great and worthwhile piece for any collector. The largest Azurite "blade" measures 1.8 cm. The main crystal is essentially damage free, but some of the smaller crystals have a few contacts. Were it perfect, it would be many thousands of dollars, but we have it priced at $1800. From the collection of John Arnaud.
