Item Description

An attractive specimen of Azurite with Malachite from the famous Milpillas Mine. This piece features fine quality, sharp, rather lustrous, deep blue, bladed crystals of Azurite measuring up to 1.3 cm associated with minor mint green Malachite on the underside. The piece is in good condition overall, with minor roughness around the outside edges where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. My favorite aspect of the piece is that some of Azurite crystals show a bit of color when backlit, showing a wonderful indigo hue. Milpillas is finished in terms of the oxidized zone, so there will be no more Azurite specimens according to our sources. Don't miss out on getting your hands on Milpillas specimens now because they are unquestionably some of the finest examples of the species ever found, and they will quickly dry up from the marketplace. Priced in the inventory at $1,500.
