Item Description

A great association specimen from this famous copper producing region in Arizona. Morenci has given collectors some iconic and beautiful Azurite and Malachite specimens, and this piece is a good miniature display piece featuring beauitful and lustrous crystlas of deep royal blue color Azurite (beautiful when viewed in reflected light), which have partially altered to green Malachite on matrix. The largest crystals measures 11 mm across. Great balance, visual appeal, and the association make this a very worthwhile piece for any collector. Ex Harold Urish collection, who obtained the piece on April 19, 1998. Valued at $200.
