Item Description

A great association specimen from this famous copper producing region in Arizona. Morenci has given collectors some iconic and beautiful Azurite and Malachite specimens, and this piece is a good miniature display piece featuring beauitful and lustrous crystlas of deep royal blue color Azurite (beautiful when viewed in reflected light), associated with green Malachite matrix. The largest Azurite measures 9 mm across. Great balance, visual appeal, and the association make this a very worthwhile piece for any collector. Please note that there is a small nick on the side of the Azurite. Ex Harold Urish collection, who obtained the piece on April 19, 1998. Valued at $200.
