Item Description
These specimens have been around for about 15+ years, and they remain some of the most beautiful and fine quality examples of Azurite with Malachite ever seen from any world locality. I think it's easy to see how they remind one of the classic associations from Bisbee, Arizona with their intense midnight blue Azurite crystals and gorgeous velvety green Malachite combinations. Although they are contemporary pieces, they will go down as classics, and certainly near the top of the finest representations of this well-known combo. This attractive cabinet display piece features lustrous, sharp, sparkling crystals of deep blue Azurite which are associated with chatoyant, semi-botryoidal groups of Malachite with minor oxidized matrix. The quality and overall visual beauty of the piece make it incredibly desirable, and the front / display side is in wonderful condition. A very showy, eye-catching and incredibly good quality example of these now beloved specimens. Priced in the inventory at $1,450.
