Item Description

A beautiful and striking azurite specimen from 2005 finds at the Tongshan Mine of China. Sparkling, midnight-blue azurite crystals with royal-blue highlights fill a very well-placed vug in gossan matrix. The top of the vug is beautifully outlined and highlighted by banded, chatoyant, velvet malachite. This quality is considered to be comparable to the best Bisbee material. High praise. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
