Azurite with Malachite

Item Description

A classic piece of these unique, eye-catching concretions of spherical soft blue Azurite with a slight overgrowth of minty green Malachite from the Lost Lake claim in New Mexico. I've heard some people describe these "balls" as "blueberries". This piece is in great condition overall, and is a worthwhile specimen for a collector of Azurite, or minerals from the southwestern United States or just unusually formed minerals. The largest "ball" measures 9 mm across. Showy and aesthetic compared to others I've seen, and the accenting Malachite really makes for a great touch.
