Item Description
An attractive matrix specimen of Azurite and Malachite from the famous Milpillas Mine. This piece features fine quality, sharp, rather lustrous, somewhat gemmy, deep blue, bladed crystals of Azurite measuring up to 1.3 cm with acicular green Malachite. Good quality overall, but not perfect, hence the auction listing. MOST of the Azurites are undamaged (some are broken) and the piece shows nicely from a few different directions. Valued at $650.
