Item Description
The Liufengshan Mine in China is one of the great localities in the modern era of mineral collecting / mining for Azurite (and Malachite) specimens in the world. Here we have a very attractive small cabinet sized piece featuring intense blue colored, sparkling/drusy radial aggregates of Azurite, with gorgeous accenting green chatoyant Malachite, which have formed in an exposed vug. The strength of the blue color is really alluring, and the associated Malachite makes for a great visceral effect. The piece looks better in person than the video might indicate, as it's really eye-catching in person. A wonderful example of this soon-to-be-classic material.
