Azurite with Malachite

Item Description

Here is a relatively large, bladed prismatic single crystal of deep blue Azurite with a truly textbook form! The faces have very good luster and classic striations with sharp edges and a fine termination. With only minor backlighting, slight translucency can be observed along with bright blue internal reflections. This handsome crystal has some tiny green Malachite blebs along with patches and flecks of an unidentified green-yellow mineral. An outstanding miniature azurite single crystal, with accents, for the species from this classic locality!
